6-hour drive via Ajmer, or 1h flight. Arrive by evening. Sunset at Mehrangarh ramparts.

Day 4 — Jodhpur

Mehrangarh full morning, Jaswant Thada briefly. Afternoon: blue city walk through the old quarter. Shop for spices and antiques. Stay at a haveli like RAAS.

Day 5 — Jodhpur to Udaipur

6-hour drive via Ranakpur Jain Temple — allow 2 hours there. Arrive Udaipur by late afternoon, sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 6 — Udaipur

City Palace morning. Afternoon: Monsoon Palace sunset for the view. Dinner on a floating restaurant.

Day 7 — Udaipur departure

Morning: Bagore-ki-Haveli museum. Fly out of Udaipur.

What we'd skip

  • Pushkar if you're not doing the camel fair.
  • Ajmer Sharif if you've only got a week.
  • Mount Abu — too much of a detour.

This is essentially our Mewar Slow Route with a Jaipur front-end added. For a customised version, ask a specialist.
