Fully visa-free for Indian passport holders

  • Bhutan — no visa, permit on arrival (₹250 SDF/day currently).
  • Nepal — no visa, just ID.
  • Maldives — 30 days.
  • Mauritius — 60 days.
  • Fiji — 120 days.
  • Jamaica — 30 days.
  • Senegal, Dominica, Haiti, Grenada — smaller-traffic destinations.

Visa on arrival

  • Thailand — 30 days (as of 2026 announcement).
  • Indonesia (Bali) — 30 days, small fee.
  • Sri Lanka — ETA ($20), on-arrival possible.
  • Cambodia — 30 days VOA.
  • Laos — 30 days VOA.
  • Jordan — 30 days VOA.
  • Seychelles — free entry up to 3 months.

E-visa (apply online, usually 3–7 days processing)

  • Vietnam
  • UAE
  • Turkey
  • Kenya
  • Singapore
  • Sri Lanka
  • Qatar

Schengen and UK

Not visa-free. Expect ₹8,000–₹12,000 and 10–30 day processing.

Check before you book

  • Each country's official visa site (linked above or via MEA).
  • Passport validity: 6 months beyond travel date, minimum.
  • Yellow-fever vaccination for some African countries.
